On 1 December 2026, Street Nurses will take part in Giving Tuesday Belgium, a day dedicated to generosity and solidarity. An opportunity to come together and take action to end homelessness.
Giving your time, making a donation, sharing an initiative: generosity takes many forms. Giving Tuesday invites everyone to contribute in their own way and encourage others to do the same.
A day to celebrate generosity
Giving Tuesday began in the United States in 2012 as a positive counterbalance to Black Friday. Today, the movement is active in more than 110 countries. It celebrates giving in all its forms: money, time, attention, goods or expertise. In Belgium, the initiative has been led by Fundraisers Belgium since 2026.
From the streets to a home
In Brussels and Liège, our teams support the most vulnerable people as they move from the streets into stable housing. Reaching out, providing care, building trust, finding a home and staying by their side: this support takes time and daily commitment. Your support helps make it possible.
How can you take part?
On 1 December, you can support our work by making a donation or sharing this appeal with the people around you using the hashtag #GivingTuesdayBelgium.
Together, let’s make this day a wave of solidarity for people experiencing homelessness.
