In this report, produced by Cathobel ©, we follow Margaux and Aymeric during an outreach in the streets of Brussels. Their mission: to connect with homeless people, listen to them, bring them comfort, and sometimes the first glimmer of hope for a better future. Through their interactions, we uncover the human challenges faced by these individuals and the meaningful impact of such encounters.
The report also introduces Willy, a man who spent two and a half years living on the streets. Today, thanks to the support of Street Nurses, Willy lives in an apartment, far from the violence and uncertainty of street life. In the comfort of his home, he shares his story and hopes with Pauline, a colleague from the MyWay team, who visits him regularly to support him in this new chapter of his life.
This touching testimony sheds light on the essential work of outreach teams and follow-up services, as well as the resilience of homeless people who, with support, find a chance to rebuild their lives.
