Participate in the financing of the manual "Sortir de la rue", and support the dissemination of our methodology to end homelessness.
After more than 15 years of activity, Infirmiers de rue ASBL has a great deal of experience and a well-established methodology for getting homeless people off the streets and accompanying them towards housing and effective reintegration into society.
This methodology and know-how is collected in our manual, the first edition of which was published in 2014. In the meantime, our activity has grown and we have gained even more experience.
Today, we also have more expertise in rehousing and stabilising people in their homes. We have also made great strides in reintegration, focusing on their resources and talents to motivate them to develop new projects.
In the spring of 2023, we plan to publish a fully revised and expanded edition of our manual. We hope to share our approach and knowledge with other professionals in the psycho-social and humanitarian sectors, with volunteers and with policy makers. Through the publication of the manual "Sortir de la rue", we are making our expertise available to as many people as possible, so that together we can put an end to homelessness.
The publication and distribution of a handbook requires a lot of resources: interviews, writing, final editing, corrections, illustrations, layout, printing, distribution, ... The project is almost fully financed, but we are still looking for €5,000 to complete the budget and thus ensure the publication.
